The 8060RX is positioned as building on the sensitivity and UF capabilities of the 8060NX while adding robustness, though this specific comparison is not stated on Shimadzu's current RX product page and should be verified before publication. The 8050RX extends the 8050 performance class while the 8045RX is positioned for rugged routine quantitative work. That progression matters in the used market because an 8045, 8050, 8060 or 8060NX may still be highly useful but it is not the same generation as an RX instrument.
